Harry Cendrowski on Corporate Governance and WeWork’s Valuation
CCA Founding Member and Managing Director, Harry Cendrowski, in this article talks with John Jannarone of CorpGov to discuss WeWork, the trends expected in valuation going forward, as well as how weak governance can have major impacts on private and public companies.
Cendrowski said the WeWork experience will likely impact the way investors view other companies. “People will look at governance and say ‘we can’t afford for this to happen,’” he said. “Investors will also want to see some path to profitability at some point in time.”
Cendrowski goes onto discuss where WeWork’s board made mistakes and offers his take on what could have been done to prevent this from occurring and the impact of a strong corporate governance structure.
