Sheldon Mandelbaum has 30 years of experience in the healthcare financial management industry. Sheldon has tremendous experience with the provision for preparation and management of RAC and all other payer audits.
A life long resident of the Metropolitan Detroit area, Mr. Mandelbaum’s expertise lies in the operational realm of healthcare billing and reimbursement. Formerly serving as the Corporate Director of Patient Financial Services and Revenue Cycle with the Henry Ford Health System, he was actively engaged in the systematic integration of clinical and financial information to maximize net revenues for the Hospital Network and the Henry Ford Medical Group.
Mr. Mandelbaum holds membership in the American College of Healthcare Executives and is an Advanced Member of the Hospital Financial Management Association (HFMA), Eastern Michigan chapter. He served as a national steering committee member of HFMA’s Patient Friendly Billing Taskforce and held membership on the Michigan Hospital Association’s Blue Cross Benefit Administration Sub committee.
Mr. Mandelbaum holds an undergraduate degree from in Health Care Administration from Eastern Michigan University and received his MBA from Wayne State University. He also received his JD from Wayne State University Law School.
