Senior Manager
Prior to joining CCA, Linda was a Director in the Forensic Practice at KPMG, specializing in federal and state government services. In this role she successfully led the federal and state government contracting business development and project management efforts. Linda’s public-sector expertise was used in managing Stimulus Funding Infrastructure, Homeland Security, FEMA disaster, HUD housing and CDBG projects, in addition to FAA airport project oversight and restructuring. Linda has successfully created financial plans for various entities and capital projects and has made numerous presentations to Wall Street underwriters and rating agencies related to bond ratings.
For more than 16 years Linda served as a CEO/CAO of 6 large county governments in Pennsylvania, New York, South Carolina and Georgia, two of which were the 2nd most rapidly growing counties in the nation at the time. She has managed thousands of people and billions of dollars in operational and project funds. Her reputation as a financial and operational turn-around expert is well known within government.
Linda earned both a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance and a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting from Marshall University. She has completed post graduate work in Public Policy at the University of North Carolina. Linda has taught both graduate and undergraduate accounting and finance courses as an adjunct instructor at 12 universities in the US & Iceland.
